The 2022 Demarini CF -3 BBCOR baseball bat is very similar to last years model. Balanced feel with aluminum retaining ring, shaved and rolled this bat is "ok". The ring in these bats are structural and should NOT be removed if you want any chance of the bat lasting. The better option is the ZOA model of which does not have an aluminum collar. The balanced model will pick up around 20-30ft max on the shave with the ring left installed. Removed, it will hit further, but you might as well take the money spent on this bat and flush it down the toilet! There are much better options out there for shaved BBCOR products.
