The 2022 Easton Maxum -5 USSSA baseball bat is our shops top pick for 2022 model year USSSA bats. Not much has changed other than the paint. These bats do have a longer barrel and can swing kind of clunky. Performance wise, the bat is ridiculous and just as hot as the Zen and Meta. Just because it is "cheaper" does not mean these bats do not perform. These bats are ridiculous hot when shaved and break in very easy. Suggested shave spec is level 2 for optimum performance / durability combination. These bats flat out rake!
