SLEEVE REMOVED -- 2023 Louisville Slugger Select PWR -3 BBCOR Baseball Bat.  One of the top dogs for alloy BBCOR.  This is an excellent bat for the money and also makes a good, cold weather bat.  These bats will come with the retaining ring removed for all out performance.  Average gains are around 35-40ft with this service.  

** THESE BATS HAVE A VERY THIN LAYER OF PAINT AND CLEAR ON THE BARREL.  DURING THE CAP REMOVAL PROCESS, THERE IS A SLIGHT POSSIBILITY SOME OF THE PAINT MAY STRIP OFF NEAR THE END CAP EXPOSING THE RAW BARREL.  WE WILL NOT KNOW IF THIS WILL HAPPEN UNTIL IT HAPPENS AND IT IS NOT SOMETHING WE CAN REPAIR.  THE BLEMISH IS TYPICALLY A FEW MILLIMETERS IN SIZE AND NOT OF ANY CONCERN AS ONCE THE BAT GETS USED, IT WILL JUST BLEND IN WITH BALL MARKS, SCRATCHES, ETC.   ADDITIONALLY, THESE BATS ON THE INSIDE HAVE A LUBRICATING OIL THAT WAS APPLIED BY THE FACTORY DURING THE EXTRUDING PROCESS.  WHEN THE CARBON SLEEVE IS MACHINED, IT TURNS TO DUST AND SOME OF THAT DUST CAN STICK TO THE WALL INSIDE THE OIL.  WE DO RINSE AND BLOW OUT THESE BATS THE BEST WE CAN, BUT THERE IS A POSSIBILITY SOME DUST MAY STICK AND FALL OFF INSIDE THE BARREL IN TIME.  THERE IS ALSO A FOAM BLOCK THAT IS INBETWEEN THE HANDLE WHICH LESSENS THE VIBRATION AT CONTACT OF WHICH HAS BEEN KNOWN TO WIGGLE LOOSE AND ROLL AROUND INSIDE YOUR BAT.  ALL OF THIS CAN BE CLEANED OUT AND REPAIRED DOWN THE ROAD AS NEEDED, BUT THERE WILL BE A CLEAN OUT CHARGE SHOULD YOU WANT TO OPEN BACK UP THE BAT
