Nice job on the Rawlings icon my son Loves it!
SHAVED and ROLLED -- 2023 Rawlings Icon BBCOR Baseball Bat. The Icons in our opinions are very similar to the Easton Maxum BBCOR, yes the Easton Maxum. Barrels are eerily similar between the 2 bats in composite material and retaining ring with the only difference being the Icon is a 2 piece bat vs 1 piece. These are very good bats shaved and hold up very well. The recommended shave spec is level 1 full service. This bat breaks in very easy and has a very soft feel and nice sound. One of our shop recommendation for composite BBCOR
** THERE IS A SMALL PROBABILITY THE ATTACHMENT CLIP WILL BREAK WHEN REMOVING THE END CAP ON THIS MODEL. MOST CASES IF THE CLIP BREAKS, THE ORIGINAL END CAP CANNOT BE REUSED. IF A REPLACEMENT IS NEEDED, THE NEW CAP IS $30 AND WE WILL CONTACT YOU SHOULD THAT BE THE CASE.
ADDITIONALLY, THE LAMINATE ON THESE BATS CAN CREASE TIME TO TIME UPON CAP REMOVAL. DOES NOT HAPPEN OFTEN, BUT IT CAN HAPPEN. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO RUN THE RISK OF CREASING NEAR THE END CAP, THE END CAP HAS TO BE DRILLED AND REPLACED. WE WILL NOT REPLACE ANY BAT WITH CREASING AS ITS BEING DISCLOSED UPFRONT FOR YOU TO ADD AN END CAP SHOULD YOU CHOOSE. **
