SHAVED and ROLLED -- 2026 Rawlings Icon -3 BBCOR Baseball Bat. Not much changing in this model other than the paint scheme. Touted as one of the hottest composite BBCOR baseball bats of all time. These are very good bats shaved and hold up very well. The recommended shave spec is level 1 full service. This bat breaks in very easy and has a very soft feel and nice sound. 1) THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THE END CAP ON THIS BAT WILL BREAK OR WARP TO A DEGREE WHERE IT CANNOT BE REUSED. IF SO, THE REPLACEMENT CAP IS SOLID BLACK MOLDED FROM A STOCK CAP AS NO FACTORY REPLACEMENTS ARE AVAILABLE. WE WILL NOT REPLACE THE BAT OR KEEP TRYING TO POP OUT CAPS OF OTHER BATS IN HOPES OF GETTING A CLEAN FACTORY CAP TO REUSE.
2) THERE IS A POSSIBILITY PAINT CRACKS CAN FORM DURING THE ROLLING PROCESS, NONE OF WHICH, WE HAVE ANY CONTROL OVER IF OR WHEN IT HAPPENS. PAINT CRACKS ARE NON-DETRIMENTAL AND PURELY COSEMTIC.
3) THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THE BAT MAY "CHATTER" SLIGHTLY IN THE LATHE WHILE MACHING OUT THE RING. IF THIS HAPPENS, SOME MINOR SCUFFING / SCRATCHES CAN OCCUR IN THE CENTER OF THE BARREL FROM THE VIBRATION. THIS IS PURELY COSMETIC AND WILL NOT EVEN BE NOTICEABLE AFTER THE BAT HAS BEEN USED SOME.
4) LASTLY, THE CAP MAY APPEAR TO SIT SLIGHTLY OFFSET ON SOME OF THESE BATS WHICH IS DUE TO THE END OF THE BAT WARPING AS THE CAP IS REMOVED. **
