What is bat rolling?
Bat rolling is a process where a bat is spun through a rolling bat machine to crunch up the fibers, resulting in an evenly broken in bat. Please note bat rolling can only be performed on composite bats. If you would like an evenly broken in bat without having to put in the time and effort to break it in on your own, then you’ll love our slow pitch bat rolling service!
Homerun Derby Bats Only offers 2 forms of bat rolling: Standard and Heated. Both of our composite bat rolling services will break in your bat, but using heat takes it a step further by allowing the fibers to flex a little more for a more thorough break in. Heat rolling a bat is a lengthier process which is why there is an additional charge for this slow pitch bat rolling service. We have experience rolling every manufacturer and model you can think of and use a Panther Xtreme Pro-model along with a Panther Xtreme Linear Drive roller which are by far the best rolling bat machines in the business. Depending on the bat, we utilize perpendicular and/or parallel rolling with progressive pressure to help break in your bat.

I had 2 of my daughter's fastpitch bats rolled. So glad I did it. Both bats sound so much better when a ball is hit. Also feels better. Big difference when the bats are evenly broken in. I highly recommend the service. Turnaround time is great also for the volume they work on.

I can't tell you, this is the #1 thing you should do when you buy a softball bat, just send it in! Saves you hours of tee time, breaking in your bat, and makes your bat hit consistently!
